Since the last century, over 70% of the world’s wildlife has disappeared. Are we supposed to just sit back and watch? Are we going to repeat history, locked away in silence again?

To speak without bias, school shootings have, since the late 20th century, become an indispensable part of cultural life. A well-structured history of murder is, to me, the clearest measure of civilizational development, and one of the most reliable ways to observe humanity’s hunger for the spiritual realm. Most of the time, I associate progress with crime—I feed on it. I watch to see whether people are given the chance to attain such self-satisfaction, whether they value their desires. Or rather, in my own words: death and bloodshed, these are my sustenance. I survive by gnawing on what’s left—the discarded limbs, the broken bodies. In a way, this is my means of survival.
